Here are some great photos of Ampthill Plantation in Virginia. This home was built in 1735 and future additions were designed by Thomas Jefferson. The home even has mantels from the White House in Washington from the 1800’s. We had the pleasure to stay with the current owners George and Carol (who are great hosts) and see the wonderful remnants of American architectural history.
