This stunner has been finished in an antique silver finish – all of the antiquing was completed by hand. Believe it or not this knob was originally produced by a manufacturer that now produces very in-expensive hardware that is found in the large big box home centers. Much of the hardware sold in home centers today is different than the hardware the same manufacturer sells to its decorative hardware showrooms. We have seen such a sad degradation to the hardware industry at large over the years. It is so good to see some bespoke hardware manufacturers (like Wilmette!) that take pride in manufacturing and finishing high quality hardware.
