Believe it or not quite a bit of hardware in homes was paint ‘grade’. I know what you are thinking…cheap looking/etc. Well if executed properly a painted finish with brass or nickel can be a very understated complete look. These bolts were in one space and they sort of disappear into the room and don’t yell “here we all are!”.
