When you see a photo like this can you really roll into a big box store and get pre-bored hardware? I hope not. Everything you see here avoided coming over the ocean on a container ship from China (and avoided the trip over to China as raw material). Not only that detail, proportion, functionality cannot even compare. Don’t short cut on your hardware – you touch it everyday – it should be like jewelry.
