Sometimes when we make a pull that is going to be used ‘all the time’ we use the base metal for the construction and finishing (ie we don’t plate it). These pulls are solid nickel – this is not really the least expensive way to go but it is a good choice. I hope that when this kitchen gets an overhaul in a decade or two that they remember to save the metal because there is several hundred dollars just in the material alone in this space.
