This german silver sink has tighter than normal radius corners and features a single bowl for an under-mount condition. This will be going into a newly tricked out lake front condo.

extra screws

When we work on a project it is part of our process to finish and provide extra fasteners.  Nothing can be more frustrating during an install on an already behind schedule construction project than to come up short on fasteners.  These are for a Hoppes window restoration project in New York.

Here is another photo of our French inspired cabinet hardware.  The components are all machined (not cast) providing crisp and precise detailing.

everything has a story

These little gems were inspired by a piece of hardware that we found a co-op building at 1500 lake shore drive.  This burnished antique finish works so well on dark mill work.

salvage hardware dig

Posted on 20th January, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

This hardware was removed from a home in Lake Forest, Illinois for restoration.  We are machining new knobs and rosettes to match the existing hardware for new doors in added space.  Finishes include un-lacquered brass and polished nickel (more photos soon).  Ken Rades is our General Manager and keeps us all out of trouble (most of the time).

large exterior lantern

This copper lantern is almost completed and will be installed on a home in Lake Bluff, Illinois.  Lake Bluff is a quite lake front town just north of Chicago.  The iron bracket in will be finished and affixed to the house and the lantern will hang below.

custom drawer pulls

These parts are for the new suite of millwork hardware we just completed.  This is a burnished antique brass finish, completed by hand and waxed.

burnished brass custom pull

This pull is hot off the press! The concept pull was located in a flea market in Paris. We have developed drawer pulls and appliance pulls to coordinate with this one.

custom shelf brackets

Here are some detail shots of a custom shelf bracket we fabricated recently.  The same efforts we use on our hardware finishing went into making a striking flawless polished nickel finish.

Here is another image of the mod pulls on a pull out.  We are working on another project with this same sweet hardware.

This is a great shot of our mod ice box hardware collection.  We have completed several installs with this and are currently doing a condo on the lake.
