These knobs are part of our mod collection.  They were turned on a cnc lathe.  They are going to be polished nickel!

silver horse

Posted on May 21st, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

This silver horse shows the skill our finishers bring to the table.  Our team of polishers have all been trained to restore fine silver – it is this skill-set that we are able to use when finishing hardware.  The ability to know where to push and what wheel or compound to select is imperative to a fine finish.

re cast back plates

Posted on May 17th, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

These bronze plates were just cast and machined for a project out of town.  We had our sculptor over-scuplt the plate and fabricate a mold.  The are cast using bronze.

custom log holder

Posted on May 16th, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

This custom fire insert / log holder was fabricated out of stainless steel.  It is currently in our polishing room and will be a mirror finish when we are done.

victorian hinge

Posted on May 13th, by gbettenhausen in Blogroll, Recent Projects. No Comments

This reproduction victorian hinge is stunning – we are still patting ourselves on the back over this one.  The casting was all completed after the hinge was touched up by our sculptor.  There are actually bearings inserted within the barrel of the hinge with an over-sized stainless steel pin – bringing it totally up to date.

custom buttons

O.K. this is totally of the subject of hardware – but yet so cool.  These men’s shirt buttons were custom machined and nickel plated.  They are slightly thicker than a typical button (not to mention the entire polished nickel factor!) giving them the cool factor that no shirt you have in your closet will ever have.

custom german silver sink

Posted on May 6th, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

This under mount sink was fabricated using german silver.  It will be installed in a lake front condo very soon.  The drain assembly is polished nickel.

casting mold

This is more jewelry related than hardware related.  We are restoring a 200+ year old Chinese clock (back when made in china meant quality).  These elephants are around the base of the clock and will be cast and gold plated.  It is because of projects like this – high detail, high quality – that we are able to provide such fine work on architectural hardware.

custom light fixture concept

Posted on May 1st, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

We are in the process of fabricating a custom lantern that is approximately 40″ tall.  This rendering is the assembly that will hold the six candelabra sockets.

ice box hardware

Posted on April 29th, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

This ice box hardware was completed and finished for a local project.  All of our hardware is precision CNC machined from solid brass providing a clean and crisp hand.

kittery latch

Posted on April 25th, by gbettenhausen in Featured Frontpage, Recent Projects. No Comments

This cute little latch is available in all or our finishes.  It is made to order and comes with slotted screws that are polished and finished to match.

ball bearing hinges

Posted on April 22nd, by gbettenhausen in Recent Projects. No Comments

These hinges were re-finished in burnished nickel for a project.  The finish coordinates with the custom hardware being installed on the project.
