This is a photo of a great 1920’s fixture we just worked on with a hand tooled arm. We are in the process of replicating some exterior fixtures for a local project.
icebox style hinges | polished nickel
These handsome hinges were fabricated from solid brass. They were actually machined and not cast giving them an absolutely flawless finish. The each weigh in at about 1.5 lbs and are to die for. The hinge leaf contains a special washer that allows for a smooth / quiet function.
We are really excited in Wilmette about these hinges – they are a brand new concept for us and believe we will be making more soon!
